Compassion, Curiosity, & Clarity

I believe coaching is about navigating life as it is, right now. Not the polished, “all-together” version of ourselves, but the messy, honest, in-progress one.
I’m currently training as an Executive & Leadership Coach, and I’m learning how to support people through transitions: the shifts in work, relationships, health, or identity that can leave us feeling a little unsteady.
My Coaching Philosophy is anchored by:
• Compassion because we all need space to feel seen.
• Curiosity because good questions can unlock powerful answers.
• Clarity because when life feels foggy, small insights can guide big change. I’m still in training, so I’m not taking on coaching clients just yet.
This page is my promise to myself (and to you) that coaching will become a part of this space.

WELCOME
Thanks for visiting. Right now I am writing monthly letters, pausing and sharing reflections.
Soon, I hope we might be able to work together through a coaching partnership.
Empower Yourself, Embrace Adventure.

A bit about me and our space
Hi, I’m Imo, I’m a 40-something woman navigating mid-life, with all its turbulence, growth spurts, and unexpected lessons. Over the past year, life handed me some challenges that shook me up, stretched me, and reminded me what really matters. Writing has become my way of pausing, reflecting, and sometimes laughing at the chaos. Think of this space as a monthly “letter”, part diary, part coaching reflection, part pep talk to myself (and maybe you too).
Things that are important to me;
-
Family & friendships because they keep me grounded; though I’ll admit I don’t always get the balance right.
-
Netball (Sport) because it has been my anchor since childhood; these days I coach the little “Beelievers,” ages 5–7, who teach me just as much as I aim to teach them, plus I’m hoping to be back playing before the end of the year!
-
Habits & health because I have realised they are my ‘works-in-progress’; I’m learning to pace myself, to rest as much as push, and to take small steps forward instead of sprinting everywhere.
How would I describe myself? Probably more clownfish (Finding N'imo), than butterfly! I’m less about magical overnight transformations and more about swimming steadily, learning as I go and I love having fun.
Alongside finding my own footing, I’ve spent years working professionally in volunteer engagement and athlete lifestyle support, helping people discover purpose and connection in meaningful ways. That experience shapes how I approach coaching: guiding people to navigate life while leaning on their strengths and communities. I also love exploring these ideas through conversation, you can hear me talking about it on a podcast here.
These ‘letters’ are my way of sharing the insights, stumbles, and small wins that come from living as a mid-lifer. I’m fascinated by how we adapt, what helps us keep going, and how self-care can be an anchor when life feels stormy.
I hope my reflections bring you:
• Comfort (because you’re not alone)
• Insight (because perspective changes everything)
• A nudge to pause, laugh, or keep swimming
